Benjamin Mendy’s GoPro celebration footage was the best part of the Carabao Cup final

Injuries can’t stop Mendy from creating that sweet, sweet digital content

Benjamin Mendy couldn’t play in Man City’s 3-0 Carabao Cup final win over Arsenal, but when the final whistle blew and the confetti came down, it was his time to shine. Mendy documented the celebrations with a GoPro Fusion attached to a selfie stick and the resulting footage presents a truly unique perspective of City’s first silverware joy of the season.

Some highlights:

-Benjamin Mendy being Benjamin Mendy
-A slightly disturbing angle of a mid-interview Vincent Kompany
-Leroy Sane showing off some dance moves
-Pep giving Mendy a little smooch
-Mendy double fisting the content creation with the GoPro and his phone

Watching this video is like experiencing Arsene Wenger’s very own Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. But, you know, at Wembley.
