Sao Paulo hosted Palmeiras on Sunday and instead of using human children as mascots, they used dogs. Each player walked out onto the pitch with a dog on a leash at his side in an effort to promote the adoption of stays.

Brilliant.

Once the dogs were cleared out, the match went on to end in a 1–1 draw because Robinho (not that one) made legendary Sao Paulo keeper Rogerio Ceni pay for a bad mistake in the third minute of injury time.
