Francesco Totti keeps making Roma fans cry with his goals
April 20, 2016
Struggling with injuries and out of favor with Roma manager Luciano Spalletti, it seemed Francesco Totti might have already scored his last goal in a Roma shirt way back in September. But on Sunday, he came off the bench to score a late equalizer against Atalanta, making Roma commentator Carlo Zampa have a euphoric meltdown on the air (above).
In Roma’s very next match against Torino, Totti came off the bench again, this time scoring twice in a span of three minutes (the second from the penalty spot) to give his side a 3–2 win over Torino. This time, he had Roma fans sobbing tears of joy.

It seems likely that this will be Totti’s final season with Roma and he’s going out fighting.
New record for Totti. First brace as a sub in his career. Old dog. New tricks
