Tip from a Brazilian footballer: Only swim in pools with plenty of beer floating in them

This is 39-year-old Brazilian footballer Aloisio Chulapa, who won the Club World Cup with Sao Paulo in 2005, swimming in a pool with a whole bunch of beer floating in it. This is apparently how he decided to prepare for his son’s wedding.

Why did he put cases of beer in the pool before swimming in it? My best guess is that there wasn’t a lifeguard on duty, so he wanted to be sure there were plenty of flotation devices around him as he swam. Flotation devices that could get him drunk in case of emergency. That might not make sense to you, but Ronaldinho thinks this is the greatest idea he’s ever heard.
