Mark Noble carries time-wasting Ander Herrera off the pitch

Down 2–0 to Man United in the FA Cup quarterfinals and with time starting to run out, West Ham’s Mark Noble grew impatient as Ander Herrera received treatment. Instead of letting him milk the clock, Noble decided it was time for action and carried Herrera towards the touchline.

Three minutes later, West Ham scored to make it 2–1, but they couldn’t find an equalizer and lost by that scoreline.

Noble’s distaste for time wasting isn’t limited to that of opponents, though. Earlier this season, he picked up teammate Carl Jenkinson as he reclined on the ground, complaining to the referee about a supposed injury.

Before Wednesday’s FA Cup match even began, West Ham’s Twitter account was also worried about Man United time wasting after the visitors showed up late to White Hart Lane last weekend due to “traffic.”

Had they not been on time, Mark Noble presumably would have carried their team bus to the Boleyn Ground.
