A missed penalty against Frosinone brings Mario Balotelli to 16 straight appearances without a goal. Once automatic from the penalty spot, even Balotelli’s greatest strength seems to have disappeared as he has only scored one Serie A goal for Milan all season.

Mario’s penalty could have made the difference for Milan as they only managed a 3–3 draw with the 19th-place side.

Not long ago Balotelli was on the cusp of superstardom. Now he’s got Frosinone players celebrating over him as he waits for the San Siro pitch to swallow him whole.

When the opposing goalkeeper feels the need to console you after the match, you know things are going terribly wrong in your career.
