Jay Emmanuel-Thomas converts penalty by boring goalkeeper to death

December 28, 2014

Bristol City beat Yeovil Town 2–1 on Friday and the goal that proved to be the winner was an excruciating one for brilliantly named Yeovil keeper Jed Steer. Bristol City won a penalty in the 64th minute and Arsenal youth product Jay Emmanuel-Thomas stepped up to the spot just six minutes after entering the match. He then took quite possibly the slowest run-up of all time, prompting Steer to dive a bit too soon and the wrong way once he finally took the shot.

Have you ever had something bad seem like it was happening in slow motion? Well, for Jed Steer that was more than just a feeling.
