Francesco Totti is a 38-year-old man, but for a few moments during Sunday’s Rome derby, he was a teenager again. The Roma captain scored twice in the second half to come back from a 2–0 deficit against Lazio and his 64th-minute equalizer was a stunner of a flying karate kick volley at the far post. He then celebrated by taking a selfie with his own phone in front of the Roma fans of the Curva Sud.
The brace gave Totti 11 Derby della Capitale goals in Serie A — a new record. And he has a duckface selfie to always remember it by. Because, as proves time and time again on the pitch, he is eternally 17 years old.
