If you’ve seen the 2007 film The Number 23, starring Jim Carrey, then you know what a fixation on a single number can do to a person. Sadly, it appears Petr Cech’s move to Arsenal has set him down this path.
Since Wojciech Szczesny is holding onto the Arsenal №1 shirt with the iron grip of a toddler on a lollipop, the former Chelsea goalkeeper decided to avoid an immediate confrontation and settled on a different shirt number. One that seems to hold a prominent place in his thoughts right now…
