The United States beat Germany 2–1 in the SheBelieves Cup final and Alex Morgan scored a goal that was definitely worthy of medal.

With Germany winning 1–0 in the first half, Meghan Klingenberg played a long ball to Morgan, who chased it down, lifted the ball around a defender with one foot and then scored on the volley with the other in a motion so graceful and perfect that my brain can’t even comprehend that level of coordination.

In addition to scoring a goal that I will watch continuously for the next few days, Morgan also won both the Golden Boot and the Golden Ball awards in the newly established tournament.
