Not only is 21-year-old Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba incredibly talented, but it turns out he is also humble to the point where his agent is probably crying tears of unimaginable sadness right now. After opening the scoring in Juventus’ 4–0 win against Hellas Verona in just the third minute, Pogba spoke to Sky Italia and contradicted his agent’s assertion that the Frenchman is worth about €100 million.

From Football Italia:

“I am worth €0. I am worth nothing unless I work on the field in every single game.”

“I need to do more. I want to be a champion like Andrea [Pirlo], Gigi [Buffon] and Chiellini. I want to be one of the best in the world and must do everything to reach that level.”

Of course, Pogba already is a champion in his own right, winning Serie A with those aforementioned teammates in each of the last two seasons and the U-20 World Cup with France in 2013. He has also won the Golden Boy award and was named the Best Young Player at last year’s World Cup. But if he really thinks he’s worth nothing, other clubs will surely rush to honor his assessment and offer no more than that for his services even if Juve and his agent protest.
