Prior to West Brom visit to Goodison Park, Everton asked fans attending the match to stay in their seats at halftime so the could serve as extras in a scene for the upcoming Rocky film entitled “Creed.”

So when the halftime whistle blew, as the home supporters were still reeling from Kevin Mirallas’ missed penalty, the movie cameras were brought out and Sylvester Stallone appeared on the big screen. The film also features Liverpool born professional boxer and Everton fan Tony Bellew, but Stallone has an Everton connection himself. He previously attended a match at Goodison in 2007 as a guest of friend and business partner Robert Earl, who is an owner of the club. We can only hope that Stallone’s attempt to speak Scouse end up on the cutting room floor.
