Bayern Munich have concluded the Bundesliga season with a 2–0 win against Mainz and their annual beer shower. They also set a few more records in the process.
Their 25th Bundesliga title is a new high, as is Neuer’s incredible 20 clean sheets this season (beating Oliver Kahn’s 19 clean sheets in 2001. And just for fun, they also set a record by starting seven World Cup winners together (Neuer, Lahm, Boateng, Xabi Alonso, Schweinsteiger, Muller, and Gotze).
But once they tired of setting records, they lifted the Bundesliga trophy and moved on to the traditional celebratory beer fight. Having survived this custom last season, Pep Guardiola went on the offensive this time around. He also drank some.
