Leicester’s incredible season made them a lot more popular in FIFA 16

Not even Jamie Vardy’s racist ranting could impede Leicester City’s rise to becoming the champions of everyone’s hearts on their journey to winning a Premier League title that was almost more science fiction than fairytale.
The club’s explosion in popularity this season is perhaps most quantifiable in FIFA 16 and EA Sports has put together an infographic to illustrate the dramatic rise of the club and their two standout players.
I’m not sure how much you can claim this says about people around the world jumping on the Leicester bandwagon, but if it means fewer people playing as Barcelona or Real Madrid in FIFA online, then this is a great development.
